If you are interested in a studio place in a spacious metal studio equipped for jewellery/silversmithing, you can apply for a place at our Studio to work on a project. We have organised our workshop so that students or professional metal artists can rent studio space. There are two studio places available for renting. Maximum rent period is 3 months.
Included in the rent is use of the workshop equipment.
Artist craftsman take their own hand tools, and materials they wish to work with.

Specifications:
The studio is 270 m2 with a headroom of 3.80 m.
It is on the 2nd floor in a substantial building which also houses many other activities; a printer, artists studio, radio station, a practicing room for a brass band and others. The studio is light and spacious, well ventilated and has the use of a large elevator, and is sectioned into various rooms, fitted out for specific functions;

The studio also has:
Kitchen, toilets, office, conference rooms and
a gallery space

The studio is in east Stavanger, Norway, in a creative and developing area near the sea. Board, lodging and travel are not included in the studio rent and must be arranged by the participating artist craftsman. We can suggest suitable logdings if required.

Someone renting space in our studio must be able to work independently.
